How to take care of “Chinese Gold / Chinese Silver” accessories.
Chinese gold is a high quality accessories metal that doesn’t tarnish or change its color easily. it can withstand normal body sweat, body oils, and it is typically water resistant.
However, If you didn’t take care of it or didn’t follow the below tips, the Chinese gold/silver color may change by get brighter after a long time that could be months.
But if you follow the below tips, the Chinese gold / silver will keep its color and shine for years.
– keep away from Chemicals.
Avoid direct contact with sprays, perfumes, soaps, hand sanitizers or skin care products. You can use them before wearing the accessories.
– No Water
Be sure to take off the accessories before swimming, showering, exercising.
Make sure to take off the accessories before sleeping.
How to take care of "Gold Plated / Silver Plated" accessories
We use this type of metal in some parts of necklaces or bracelets.
It is a normal accessories metal that is plated with a 18K gold outer layer or Silver outer layer.
Plating accessories metal does not prevent tarnishing or changing its color, but it helps preventing this process from happening quickly. But if you take care of it by following the below tips the gold / silver plated parts will keep its color for longer time.
